What to expect
We understand that church can feel strange if you’ve never been, or your experience of church might be quite different from what we do.
Our services include songs, Bible readings, prayers and listening to a talk (or sermon). We welcome children of all ages. Halfway through the service, children ages 3 and above can go to Sunday School during term time, or feel free to keep them with you if you prefer. There is a crèche room available for parents who might need to feed or settle little ones while still listening to the service.
Near the end of each service, we usually gather in small groups to take turns praying before ending all together with one last song. Visitors are most welcome to join these groups to simply listen, pray or just wait in their seats to join in the last song. During the last song, there’s an opportunity for members to contribute money to support the work of the church, but visitors are not expected to contribute anything. You are our guests.
After the service is over, everyone is invited to stay for a cup of tea or coffee, some morning tea and a chat. We hope you can join us–we will make every effort to welcome you!
